Woman reading the Book of MormonThe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a rich history. As such, there are many places in the world where you can experience it. Thankfully, many tour companies like Cruise Lady offer LDS tours.

These tours are enriching and can grow your faith considerably. Though most people only know of LDS vacations in Israel, a Mediterranean trip is also beneficial for you. Here are the places that you can visit on an LDS Mediterranean tour:

Mormons have been visiting the Paris France Temple since its dedication. This is among the four LDS temples without spires or towers and joins five others worldwide that do not have a gold-plated statue of the angel Moroni. You can also visit the palace of Versailles, the Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame.

You can visit many historical and religious landmarks in Italy. Here, you can walk in the footsteps of Paul’s missionary journeys and explore the city to which he wrote the epistle of Romans. There are also many other historical chapels throughout Italy, including the newly opened LDS temple in Rome.

This country has an exceptional culture and lovely beaches. Greece is also one of the locations of one of the longest early missionary journeys in Corinth. Explore Rhode Island, the place that Paul visited en route to Jerusalem and where the Knights of St. John fled after Jerusalem’s fall to Suleiman.

Overall, the places mentioned above might seem too expensive to visit. However, you can rest assured that an LDS tour is one of the cheapest ways to visit the Mediterranean nowadays. Hence, the cost should not hinder you from signing up for the upcoming LDS Mediterranean tour.
